Xbox Game Pass is getting even more new games. During the Gamescom 2026 Xbox presentations, the company announced eight new titles that will be available to Game Pass subscribers on their release day.
The lineup includes games from several different genres, including horror, survival, action and co-op titles. There are also a few rather unusual projects, including a game where players take control of a gang of mischievous raccoons.
What games are coming to Game Pass?
Xbox announced a total of eight new Day One games for Game Pass. This means subscribers will be able to play them as soon as they launch without having to purchase them separately.
Some of the games are coming later this year, while others are scheduled for 2027.
The Séance of Blake Manor
The Séance of Blake Manor is set to launch on October 7.
This supernatural mystery puts players in the role of a detective investigating the disappearance of Evelyn Deane. The investigation takes place at Blake Manor, where players will have to uncover what is really happening inside the mysterious estate.
The game combines exploration, puzzles and supernatural elements, making it an interesting option for anyone who enjoys mystery games and atmospheric stories.
Terrible Lizards
Terrible Lizards will arrive on Game Pass on October 29.
The game combines horror with first person parkour. Players will have to move quickly through the environment while trying to survive and escape monstrous creatures hunting them.
It could be an interesting choice for players who prefer their horror games to be a little more action focused.
Neon Abyss 2
Neon Abyss 2 is coming to Game Pass in Fall 2026.
This fast paced action roguelike can also be played with friends, with support for up to four players.
That makes it a particularly interesting option for anyone looking for a new co-op game to play together.
Dumpster Gang

One of the more unusual games in the lineup is Dumpster Gang.
This co-op sandbox game lets players take control of a gang of mischievous raccoons. The idea is to explore the environment, complete different tasks and cause as much chaos as possible along the way.
Dumpster Gang is scheduled to launch in December 2026.
What Goes Up
What Goes Up is another co-op focused game.
The basic idea is fairly simple. Players have to use various pieces of junk to build massive towers.
Since the game is based around physics, keeping those towers standing may not always be as easy as it sounds. That could end up being one of the most entertaining parts of the experience.
What Goes Up is planned for 2026.
Son of Thanjai

Son of Thanjai is scheduled for Spring 2027.
This cinematic action adventure takes place in an alternate history version of medieval South India.
Players will take on the role of Vinnendhiran and embark on an adventure filled with dangers and challenges throughout the world.
Holstin
Horror fans may want to keep an eye on Holstin.
This survival horror game takes players to a town that has been taken over by a mysterious threat.
The game also stands out with its distinctive visual style and changing camera perspectives. Holstin is currently planned for 2027.
Militsioner
The final game on the list is Militsioner.
This first person stealth game puts players in a rather unusual situation. The goal is to escape from a giant policeman while making your way through the game world.
The concept is certainly different from most other games in the lineup, which could make Militsioner one of the more interesting upcoming Game Pass releases.
The game is planned for 2027.
When are the new Game Pass games coming?
The first new title will be The Séance of Blake Manor, arriving on October 7. Terrible Lizards will follow on October 29.
Neon Abyss 2 is planned for Fall 2026, while Dumpster Gang is scheduled for December. What Goes Up is also expected sometime in 2026, although a specific release date has not been announced yet.
Moving into 2027, Son of Thanjai is planned for Spring, while Holstin and Militsioner are currently listed simply for 2027.
Game Pass continues to grow
The latest announcements show that Xbox continues to expand the Game Pass library with a mix of different games.
The lineup includes horror titles, action games, co-op experiences and several projects with unusual concepts. Some of them are arriving within the next few months, while others are still further away.
For Game Pass subscribers with Day One access, these games will be available to play as soon as they officially launch.
With several new titles arriving before the end of 2026, Game Pass users have plenty to look forward to over the coming months.
